Glass-Coil Condenser Heat Exchangers

ANTICO CoilCond™ is designed for condensation of vapours using a helical coil immersed in a cooling medium or enclosed within a shell containing coolant.

The working principle involves hot vapour entering the coil and releasing latent heat to the surrounding coolant as it condenses into liquid, which is then collected and discharged. The system includes a helical tube coil, shell or tank, vapour inlet, condensate outlet, coolant inlet and outlet, and support structure. It is widely used as a reflux condenser on reactors, distillation receivers, and evaporator systems. The helical coil configuration provides a high heat transfer surface area in a compact geometry. The simple design with no moving parts ensures reliable, low-maintenance operation. Coil condensers are available in glass for laboratory use and in metal alloys for industrial applications. ANTICO CoilCond™ is a cost-effective and efficient solution for vapour condensation across a wide range of process temperatures and coolant requirements.
